Our October workshop will be a great opportunity to follow up on the information Peter Tea shared at our October meeting. Perhaps you have a maple, elm or other deciduous tree that needs some judicious pruning, or want to consider different pot options with our workshop leaders. Bring them along! You can also do some wiring and pruning on broadleaf evergreens.
The workshop is also an excellent time to take a good look at the wire that is on the branches of your trees. If you have had robust growth this summer the wire might be biting into the branches, especially on deciduous trees. Do a careful inspection this fall and bring your trees in for review by our workshop leaders to set your tree up for maximum growth potential next year.
RSVP:It should be routine by now, but we need you to RSVP for our workshops. We need to hear from all of you who plan to attend next week’s workshop by this Friday, October 13. You can do that by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Even if you think you told someone at the meeting last week you thought you would be at the workshop, we still need to hear from you by email. Please use the above address for your RSVP responses. Several people are on vacation this month and your message might not be counted if you email anyone else.
We know something can always come up at the last minute that you might not be able to follow through on plans, but a good guess will help a lot with our planning with MAGC management.
- Workshops are free to members whose dues are current
- $20 fee for non-members
