Air layer and Raft style bonsai
John’s Bio: “I’ve been involved in Bonsai for 25+ years. I’m a member of Marin Bonsai Club, BABA and Eastbay Bonsai Society. Some of my teachers have been Tim Kong, Ted Matson, Kathy Shaner and Adam Toth. The most influential teacher I’ve worked with is Peter Tea. I tend to specialize in Shohin size trees, I like the smaller size, and intricacy. I also enjoy teaching and working with other Bonsai students.”
If you were able to have the beginner’s class, or workshop time with John you know he has a wealth of knowledge to share and this will be a great lesson. Not a common subject so this will be very educational.
We are invited to bring trees that we have started to air layer or hope to air layer.
