Monthly Meeting: Tung Dao & Candace Key

This is our only meeting this month and we have a “two talks in one” evening planned. 

The first is by our Tung Dao on Bonsai Garden Set up, display ideas and benches. Learn what others have put together to display and keep their Bonsai collections with Tung’s expertise. If you have photos of your bonsai garden (with a focus on the benches), please share them with Tung at tung@marinbonsai.org for the November lecture.

The second talk will be with our Candace Key on Peter Tea’s Bonsai by the Numbers. Candace’s talk is focused on fall work for our trees. Although repotting time is about to begin, the next month gives us an opportunity to quietly look at our trees and determine what we did ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ throughout the year to enhance their development. This will be a good reminder for long time bonsai practitioners and a great way for our newer members to begin their practice.
