MBC Meeting/Demo

We welcome Bob Shimon, a professional bonsai artist and instructor, from Point Arena as our guest speaker. He is an owner / operator of Mendocino Coast Bonsai, a full service bonsai vendor who is often seen at shows such as Nor Cal Bonsai shows, Biennial California Shohin Seminars and Annual Golden State Bonsai Federation (GSBF) Conventions. He specializes in native redwoods, oaks, and Mendocino pygmy cypresses.

For our meeting, Bob will demonstrate work on a California Coast Redwood.  A redwood tree will be raffled after the demo. If you have a redwood in your bonsai collection, I encourage you to bring one to the demo. Bob will be offering his expertise on your redwood bonsai.
