MBC Meeting – Automated Watering / Black Pine Decandling

New to Bonsai? Don’t have a watering routine yet? Traveling for vacation? How will our trees get watered? Our president Tung Dao will be giving a demonstration on automated watering systems.

This demo will cover all sorts of systems from simple gravity systems, to manual timer systems, to smart controllers. He will discuss the pros and cons of each type of systems and how they affect your trees.

Also, it’s June, and that means it’s decandling season for Japanese Black Pines. Chris and Candace will be doing a demonstration on how to do this essential task.

Please bring in a tree for a quick show and tell after intermission if you have something that’s in season.
